Hannah's adult ballet classes aim to find the freedom and love for movement using ballet technique. The class follows the structure of a ballet class with focus on finding the way your body wants to move and to enjoy how that feels whilst also building strength, control and grace of movement. All levels welcome.
Adam’s contemporary dance classes will help you to connect your mind and body using fluid dance exercises. The aim of his sessions are to increase your strength, postural awareness as well as improving control and co-ordination through movement. Adam's friendly and welcoming personality will ensure you work in a relaxed and enjoyable environment in a class suitable for all levels. All ages and abilities welcome.
BarreConcept® produces dramatic results that sculpt and redefine the entire body, without even being a dancer. The technique utilises the body's own resistance in conjunction with weights, bands, and small balls. This low-impact, total body workout lifts the butt, tones the thighs, flattens the abs, and sculpts the arms, while protecting the joints. Small isometric contractions are performed and integrated with an interval training approach that burns fat and improves cardiovascular fitness.
Posture, flexibility, stamina, and core strength are improved. The result is a body that is realigned, rebalanced, and works harmoniously and efficiently. Stretches are performed after each strength section of the class to ensure the muscles are re-lengthened to create a body that is strong without the added bulk of other regimes.
This workout is great fun! Full of bursts of energy combined with small more intense body conditioning exercises performed at the barre. The class is performed to music to help keep energy levels high and our instructors inject enthusiasm and support throughout.
